Today I took Basic Handgun training with Jay Calendine. All the training material and presentations were up to date, and very much engaging. The instructor presented the training without flaw and with great understanding. He shared relatable life events and scenarios that went hand in hand with the training. 

I went into this training thinking it would be boring due to already having some handgun training. But now I'm glad I did because I had forgotten a lot and also learned a lot of the new stuff that's evolved over the years. 

Again, I highly recommend this training to those both new and experienced with handguns.

Jay is the best! I took the concealed carry training course, and he definitely made me feel comfortable with my training and gave me a great understanding of everything. If you book a course, make sure it's with Jay Calendine!

Jay is an awesome instructor. I, unfortunately, had let my CCH permit expire and had to retake the class. I was dreading the long, 8-hour class but Jay made it fun and interesting and engaging the whole time. I will definitely be signing up for some of their other trainings soon.

I had the pleasure of taking the Concealed Carry Handgun Training with Jay Calendine, and he did a great job both in the classroom and on the range. The class was 8 hours and I honestly never got bored. The information Jay provided was "real world" and caused you to think and apply the information with the scenarios he built as he talked. It was a large class but Jay presented information, fielded questions, and kept the class moving at a good pace.

Although I had never handled or shot a gun, after instruction I felt much more comfortable than I expected by the time we went to the range for practice. This is a class that everyone should take to understand the legalities and responsibilities of gun ownership. 

This is by far the best experience I had in awhile. Jay was so knowledgeable, informative, and a gentleman. Everyone at this facility was so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone and dare anyone to find anything to complain about.

Instructor Jay was absolutely phenomenal! I went with two other girls and we all agreed that we would recommend this class and instructor Jay to our friends! We only had 6 people in our class so it was very hands-on!!

I drove about an hour from home to attend a concealed carry course with Jay and I am glad I did. I never found myself getting bored during the course work and loved the fact that the range was outside. RSOs were very professional, overall excellent experience, will look for other courses in the future.

Recently took my first CCH course. Jay was a solid instructor and very knowledgeable and could answer just about any question. Anything from scenario-based questions to general firearm questions. 8 hours is lengthy for the classroom portion, but there's no getting around State requirements. At the end of the day you will learn something regardless of your experience level with firearms.

Other notes for this course: Even if you've never shot before you will pass the range qualification requirement. The RSOs killed it, definitely good at making sure the range was safe and nobody would have any accidents or NDs, etc. In summary I would recommend this course.
